The constant sniping and bickering between Democratic candidates Clinton and Obama is getting to be distressing. Regardless of the reasons, it's been going on for a while now and is unnecessarily divisive and distracting. The Democrats need to show some unity if they're ever going to re-take the White House, and resorting to mud-slinging tactics won't do it. Thoughts?

make tea not love.....or something...I get your point, but we sometimes I feel like we have to make do with what we've got....I realize this attitude helps the status quo, but I only have so much time....

this campain pissing match with hillary and obama is a pain.
I would enjoy given the demicracts a shot at the white house but
how does one find trust in nagg and bitch which one is which is for you to sort out
I got a kick out of watching john E at the mud slinging debate last night reminded me of standing on the side line when one of my boys just pushed the other to far.
what does one do just stand back and hope the mud does not hit you. try to brake it up if it goes to far.I got give John E some points for that he most likley came to talk issues go figure.
back to the mug slingers

I think the damage is done. for me .
this country has just to many BIG issues to hand it over to jr. high students

Hillary in 08 baby. Obama can be vice. Not enough experience on Obamas part. Oprah creeps me out. She might be trying to start her own Halliburton. Life was real good for me when clinton was in office. How is obama going to handle the war? I voted for bush the second time around because we did'nt need a tree hugger at the button we needed a cowboy. If john kerry would have made it to the general election he would have had my vote. But if obama wind=s the primary im voting for John McCain. He was in the Hanoi Hilton with bob dole for like 6 years. Even though he is a republican he never rubbed me the wrong way. John Edwards jst need to give it up. I think he is just running to get his pockets a little fatter. Hell he will probably run in 2012. I just dont trust that guy. Rudy can forget it. The 8 years he had in nyc he gained a lot of enemies.

Funny, but until campaign finance reform becomes a critcal issue again, it really doesn't matter what any of the presidential candidates say. As long as corporate lobbyists continue to camp out in Washington and craft most of the legislation, nothing of any substance will change. At one time everyone thought Ross Perot was nuts for insisting that foreign government lobbyists were taking us all down the primrose path to hell (NAFTA), but the truth of the matter is, both political parties depend heavily on corporate lobbyists to set the nation's political agenda. Why were the Dems stomping mad at Ralph Nader for "costing" them the 2000 election? He had no corporate backing, and he wasn't on the ballot in all 50 states. And why is Liberatrian Ron Paul running as a Repubican? We now vote for who says the most sensible things, knowing full well that very little of it will ever be enacted into law.

I think we've had enough 'cowboys' in the white house for a good long while. Republicans love to complain about 'tax and spend' Democrats--the problem is, W. has been spending without taxing--and look at the record setting budget deficit we now have! Our grandchildren will work in Chinese owned factories....The USA will be one big theme park--foreign tourists will be encouraged to laugh and throw popcorn at the 'natives'--in their natural settings,of course--suburban sprawl, ghetto blight, rural decrepitude, etc....

Hillary may be down but she's not out!! Here's my prediction.... In her quest for world domination, she will eventally accept the VP slot on the Obama ticket. Sorry Hillary, I know I've been volunteering and campaigning hard for you here in Texas, but settling for the title First Woman Vice President is better than settling for the title LOSER!!
